Steel City Theatre: November Calendar Overview

Fall is in the air and what that means at SCTC- the beginning of a new season and gearing up for Christmas shows!

Things are busy behind the scenes- expanding class offerings, rehearsing for A Charlie Brown Christmas and A Nice Family Christmas, continuing The Prom performances, and lots of other planning and projects.

Friday, October 31 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm:

Halloween falls on a Friday this year, and YES, we're having our regularly scheduled Performing Arts Academy classes, but with some added Halloween fun!

• Fun Halloween Lessons and Games

• Treats and Surprises

• Bring Treats to Swap and Share with Friends- Potluck Style!

• Costume Contests in the Morning and Afternoon (With Prizes for Most Creative/Original, Funniest, Best Homemade, Best Group, Best Use of Special Effects)

The Prom Performances Continue

The Prom continues in November for more hilarious fun. Many people haven't heard of this hilarious, heart-warming show, and we're here to tell you, audiences are loving this production. The story follows four narcissistic, selfish Broadway stars as they attempt to rehab their public personas by helping a girl from Indiana get to prom, after hers was cancelled after wanting to bring another girl. Our self-centered New Yorkers cause massive chaos and their misguided rally ends in beer cans being thrown.

In the end, the real question is, who is a hypocrite, how do we show love to those in our communities we disagree with, and can people show compassion?

It's Black Friday, and the specialty shop will open at 10:00 am through social media and on our website. What to expect:
